Bio - Jason Gilliam-Alexander
 
Jason Gilliam-Alexander was born in Queens, New York and has over 25 years of basketball playing and training experience on the NYC blacktops, Catholic Youth Organization, AAU powerhouses Bronx Gauchos and Riverside Hawks, Aim High Foundation, Archbishop Molloy High School and Oak Hill Academy, The University of Rhode Island, Stetson University, and Kalnapilis of the LKL-Lietuvos Krepšinio Lyga (Lithuania).

Jason has been mentored and coached by legendary High School Coaches Jack Curran and Steve Smith, Former Providence Friar Coach Robert Holford, Aim High Foundation Coaching Guru Vincent 'The Mentor' Smith, University of Alabama Coaches Anthony Grant and Dan Hipsher, as well as former NBA Players Bernard King, Washington Wizard GM Ernie Grunfeld, Nate 'Tiny' Archibald, Al Skinner, TNT analyst Kenny 'The Jet' Smith, ABC analyst Mark 'Action' Jackson and former NBA All-Star Kenny Anderson.
 
Jason was selected Honorable Mention HS All-American at Oak Hill Academy in 1991, Atlantic-10 All Freshman in 1992 as he lead his team to an NIT berth, All TACC Conference in 1995 & 1996 as well as TAAC Newcomer of the Year in 1995…
 
Jason was selected into the Stetson University Sports Hall of Fame in 2003.
